Our client is an established national leader in consumer and business services. They are currently seeking Account Representatives in the San Fernando Valley area to launch an exciting, cutting-edge business-to-business advertising and marketing service for a new division.

The Account Representative will call on retailers, healthcare providers, and other small businesses to present and close a unique online directory service. This individual works in a consultative manner, creatively offering suggestions to help clients reach their business and marketing objectives and then managing their account after the sale. Leads are provided but the Account Representative will also be encouraged to locate additional business in their territory. Full training is provided along with ongoing support and sales materials to support the sales efforts.

Previous sales experience preferred, but will train the right entrepreneurially spirited individual. This position requires a high energy level, positive outlook and the motivation to succeed. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, very disciplined and have a strong work ethic. Reliable transportation and a professional appearance is required.

Base salary of $36K plus uncapped commissions. Realistic first year potential income, at plan is $60K+.

The Technical Account Executive will prospect for new accounts as well as maintain existing clients. In addition to sales, this individual will also handle training of physicians and staff on the equipment after the sale.

A minimum of 5 years direct relationship based sales experience with specific experience selling to orthopedic surgeons is required. The ideal candidate will have previous sales and/or clinical experience with pharmaceutical sales or medical service sales to surgeons. Overnight travel of 50% required.
